do they still make chum gum

In my search for Bonomo Turkish Taffy, I was remembering Chum Gum and decided to Google it to try and find it. For years I have been searching for this stick bubble gum called "Chum Gum". Whenever I mention it to all of my friends it just brings back to good ole days. Please, please, please get them Hollywood candy bars back that say it all. In the 1940s I used to buy penny candy. But Chum gum is the best tasting gum in the world. Tootsie Roll dropped the Fleer name from all former products, such as Dubble Bubble, after the buyout. Fleer was stingy in budgeting for advertising, limited mainly to comic books and little TV play. I'm 51 in Cincinnati and I can't believe so many people remember Chum Gum. The bubble gum was cheap with really great flavor that simply didnt last. I'D BUY ALL HE HAD. I grew up in Neptune beach Fl. One for you. Youd get two sticks, for a penny mind you, and the flavor literally lasted through an entire day of baseball, hula hoops and other fun kid stuff. The closest I have come to this flavor is Wrigleys Extra classic bubble flavor. It is the best bubble gum ever made. We had Chum gum in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 2005, Fleer Company ended up declaring bankruptcy and they never bounced back as some companies do. No one makes it today and no plans are to bring it back.
